From a blank sketch to a physical prototype you can hold. Master Autodesk Fusion, Bambu Studio & the Bambu Lab A1 Mini in Singapore’s most hands-on beginner 3D printing course.
3D Printing Essential
3D printing isn’t just for hobbyists anymore. From custom prototypes to small-batch manufacturing, additive manufacturing is reshaping how designers, makers and entrepreneurs bring ideas to life.
This course takes you through the complete end-to-end process: sketching a 2D profile in Autodesk Fusion, converting it into a 3D model, preparing it in Bambu Studio, and printing it live on the Bambu Lab A1 Mini in class. By Day 3 you’ll be operating the printer independently, troubleshooting common issues, and using Generative AI to accelerate your design workflow.
No design background. No 3D modelling experience. Just three days from sketch to physical product in your hand.
3 days · 24 hours of hands-on instruction · 8 hours per day. Print a luggage tag on Day 1. Build a custom desktop storage drawer and an AI-designed figurine on Day 2. Complete your own functional product on Day 3.

- Day 2 – Desk drawer & AI figurine: a custom storage drawer for your desk, plus an AI-designed figurine concept refined for real-world printing.
- Day 3 – Your capstone product: a practical object with a real use case, designed, sliced and printed by you.
- Autodesk Fusion: sketch 2D profiles, convert them into 3D objects, recreate real-world objects and learn functional product design.
- Bambu Studio: prepare designs for printing, choose materials, and tune colour, strength and support settings.
- Generative AI tools: turn 2D sketches into detailed 3D models and refine designs from concept to print faster.
- Bambu Lab A1 Mini printer: start, monitor and recover prints on real equipment, not simulators.

Makers, designers and entrepreneurs with ideas they want to make real, or a business that could use rapid in-house prototyping. No design background needed.
Think Design Make specialises in custom prototypes, mass production runs and hands-on 3D printing training across all skill levels. They’ve built printed parts for Singapore SMEs, government agencies, startups and creators — and now they bring that production-floor expertise directly into the BELLS classroom. Learn the tools of the trade from engineers who do this day in and day out.

Not at all. This is a beginner-friendly course. If you can use a mouse and your own laptop, you have what you need. We start from absolute basics and build up to a functional capstone product by Day 3.
Across the three days you’ll print at least three course outputs: a custom luggage tag on Day 1, a custom desktop storage drawer plus an AI-designed figurine on Day 2, and your own functional product as the Day 3 capstone. Specific outputs may vary based on design choices and printer availability.
Yes — the physical objects you print in class are yours to keep. Walk out Friday with real things you made.
Hardware: Bambu Lab A1 Mini printer. Software: Autodesk Fusion for 3D modelling, Bambu Studio for slicing, plus Generative AI tools to accelerate your design workflow.
Yes. Participants who fulfil all course requirements receive a Statement of Attainment (SOA) issued by Skills & Workforce Development Agency (SWDA), recognised across all WSQ-aligned employers.
Yes. Singapore Citizens (21-39) and PRs receive 50% subsidy. Singapore Citizens aged 40+ qualify for 70% subsidy under the Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy. SME-sponsored employees also qualify for 70% via ETSS. NTUC members can stack UTAP funding on top (up to $500/year, claimable after completion).
The $30 supports the admin work to set up your training and confirms your enrolment. It is fully waived upon successful completion of the programme.
