BELLS hosted the SCTP Networking Night at IPZ, bringing together past SCTP learners from various domains for an evening dedicated to industry engagement, career conversations, and professional networking. The event creates a relaxed yet purposeful environment for learners to connect with employers and peers.

Strengthening the Bridge Between Training and Employment
The SCTP Networking Night was designed to support learners beyond the classroom by providing direct access to industry partners and real-world insights. We were pleased to welcome our participating partners AKG, Staffking, and Techzu, who generously shared their perspectives on current hiring needs, job roles, and industry expectations.
Through these sharings, learners gained a deeper understanding of how their SCTP training aligns with market demands, as well as the skills and competencies employers value when assessing candidates.

Practical CV Sharing and Career Conversations
A key highlight of the evening was the opportunity for learners to present their CVs directly to industry partners. This allowed for immediate feedback, open discussions on career pathways, and meaningful exchanges around workplace readiness and employability.
These conversations provided learners with practical guidance on how to better position themselves in the job market, while enabling employers to engage with talent from different SCTP domains in a more personal and interactive setting.

Building Networks Beyond the Session
In addition to employer engagement, the Networking Night also enabled learners to connect with fellow SCTP alumni from different sectors. These peer-to-peer interactions encouraged the exchange of experiences, insights, and support, helping to strengthen the SCTP community beyond individual programmes.
